A second consecutive story in Asimovs from Jablokov which didn’t do much for me. Actually, to be truthful, it did do something for me – it disappointed me.
A love story featuring a ghost, urban space design and sculpture.
An interesting look at how technology (‘intelligent’ RFID, social media) can impact on local politics, elevating an unlikely local government official to their 15 minutes of fame.
I started this issue expecting Rusch and Jablokov to supply the stronger stories, but in fact it is Zumsteg and Ludwigsten who tickled my fancy the most. Who’da thunk it?

Real physical versions of Asimovs are to hand, which I find I read much more quickly than the e-versions of late (having spent most days at work in front of a screen, reading off a screen is not much of a relaxation!) – so I expect to be up to date with the US mags by the end of the month!
As has been the case with others in his take on the year’s best SF there is less I agree with than is the case with the other year’s best volumes.
