clarkesworld103The title being taken from a sonnet, words written as an epitaph by two Apollo astronauts stranded on the moon. Their dessicated bodies are found some 50 years later, by the first uplifted chimp to walk on the moon.

Pierre has much to think about – his new ‘humanity’, his old self under the canopy of the jungle, and he negotiates a holiday upon his return to Earth.
