‘Those Good Old Days of Liquid Fuel’ was one of the first SF short stories I ever read from my dad’s collection. I still have the book he purchased in 1977, and it’s a treasure to me. Boeing-Toyota and a deep space pinnaces — just thinking about things like that make me happy.
