A story about which I have reservations.
Cypess looks at a technological way in which the horrors of the past can be prevented from disappearing into the past, and from the denyers (deniers?) to rewrite that history.
A technology that allows instant transportation, enables a young woman to run away – far, far away – and for whole communities to leave Earth behind.
Fine as far as it goes, but it doesn’t really break any new ground to raise it above what feels like are a whole heap of similar stories.
