Gord Sellar. Prodigal. (Analog, December 2016)
Not a story that grabbed me.
Reviewing short SF since 2000
Not a story that grabbed me.
A nicely told story, capturing a period feel of 1920s jazz, as a young (or not) black musician carries more in his cornet case (and his head)..
Far future warfare carried out by post-human entities, in a clever, complex short story like Charles Stross used to write.
A clever look at how psychology, NLP and the like could be used for political gain.
A good, but not great, issue, with Sanford being the pick of the youthful crop.
