An Arcturian living amongst us finds a passion for philately, as his kind help the human race from destroying itself, and in the simple act of writing letters to seek used postage stamps, a lot about humanity can be learnt.
A gently amusing exchange of letters between an author intent on returning to the Golden Age of Science Fiction, and his publisher.
McAllister handles the story well without tipping into sentimentality, so overall a nice little addition to the time travel story without breaking new ground/
Something for everyone … pervs included. Duncan, Reaves and Bowes my favourites, giving the first half of the chunky, value for money, volume more grist to my reviewing mill.
