interzone259Near-future story with limited SFFnal elements. It is set in Beirut, a city that has been under siege for over a decade – but the siege is from persistent, torrential rain. Against this backdrop the ageing Aya, who played, long pre-rainfall, an important role in trying to save the city, and has remained in the city, determines to make an attempt to visit, as one of her last acts, her old colleague and friend Zeing, who, it transpires, has made her own set of decisions.
