A short, fun story from Larson. A teenage girl is in a fix, having misbehaved at a party, and needing someone to go back to the party house to rescue her sister’s best boots that she had been wearing, but had to leave behind when leaving, erm, in a hurry. The guy she calls on to help has attitude, hi-tech gear, and also an octopus as a right-hand man…

Minded me of a mashup of A Clockwork Orange and Scooby Doo. In a good way.

    You could tell the author doesn’t like Thierry very much because he has him use the abomination of a word “deets”
