An entertaining bit of invention that ends with a cliff hanger and the reader wanting more. A Royal Astronomer risks death at the hands of his fearsome multiple Queen when he challenges the orthodoxy, and attempts to float to the moon, to capture a moon petal for her. He is able to free the bonds of the Earth and rise to the heavens, but finds that all is not as it seems.
