James Patrick Kelly. Oneness : a triptych. (Fantasy and Science Fiction, July-August 2015)

fsf150708After a gentle story in the issue about love (and loss) taken forward by dialogue, Kelly provides three short vignettes on lust and sex. The common theme, as indicated by the title, is a coming together, and we see immersive sex and who does what to whom in the first scene (or to each other/themselves); an all-consuming passion for an alien love in the second; and finally a young woman uniting with an alien, and in doing so, with her god.
