A spacer intent on some R&R during a short stay on a spaceport finds himself propositioned by a beautiful young woman. He’s not convinced of the story she spins behind her wanting to join his crew and get off planet, and there are clearly people with a lot of money wanting her back. He’s willing to risk his neck for her though, and in rescuing her and letting her join his small crew, he finds out exactly what it is she is hiding. The story skips along at a fair pace without really offering any real depth, or colour, or description (save for the opening restaurant centre) beyond the routine.
