The 48K Spectrum version of ENDZONE sold almost 1,000 copies by mail order during the 1980s (not to be confused with a game of the same title from a bigger publisher which came out subsequently).

The game featured rosters and player stats for all the 28 NFL teams, with each player able to choose who to have onfield at WR, RB, TE on any given play.

An improved 128K version was finished in 1991, just as the the market for home computers like the Spectrum, Commodore, Timex etc ceased to exist! The game is still playable (with late 1980s team rosters/stats) via Sinclair Spectrum emulators.
