A very mainstream piece of fantasy writing that could easily have been published in a non-genre magazine. A young woman takes a summer job in rural France, and falls under the spell of the elderly ex-ballerina who has very strong links with the surrounding countryside. Snip out a couple of paragraphs and its entirely non-genre.
