Arc 1.1

Last year we saw the Technology Review magazine publish TRSF: the Best New Science Fiction, and now the New Scientist, part of the mighty Reed Business Informations Ltd., is hitting the British streets/web. It delivers Fact and Fiction, with some pretty damn Big Names on the cover : Margaret Atwood, Stephen Baxter, M John Harrison, China Miéville, Hannu Rajaniemi, Alastair Reynolds, Adam Roberts and Bruce Sterling.

Editor-in-Chief is Sumit Paul-Choudhury, with Managing Editor Simon Ings, and I’ve just downloaded the Kindle version (amazon.co.uk amazon.com) and will be making my way through it.

You can find more about the magazine (not much more actually) at their website which also links to a Hewlett Packard website selling a print version at $29.95 with an announcement that no digital versions of the magazine are available.
