‘Goodnight Moon’ in the first volume saw a scientist on the moon make a noble sacrifice as the moon was devastated by a huge meteor impact. This story follows the fortunes of the scientist’s daughter as she witnesses the resultant devastation as the split asunder moon falls to Earth in pieces, leaving the planet in an Impact Winter.
Bellett’s the story is panning out as the most like a Hollywood disaster movie in the anthology, but fine for that.
